A Crayo AI alternative for story, fact and explainer Shorts
Short.now AI Shorts writes the script, draws or finds a visual for every scene, reads it with an AI voice and captions every word. It starts free and paid plans start at $6.99/month.
Crayo AI is built around short-form workflows such as Reddit videos, fake text videos and AutoClip, with monthly limits on workflow credits, AI voiceover minutes and AI images. Its pricing page lists Hobby, Clipper and Pro plans billed every three months. Short.now AI Shorts focuses on narrated faceless Shorts: pick a story type (scary, Reddit-style, fun facts, history, motivation, poem, explainer), and each scene gets an AI image in one of 40+ styles, a stock clip or your own footage. It has no fake-text template and no gameplay library; you upload your own gameplay if you want it. Short.now is not affiliated with Crayo.
